What is Oh!Paid?
Oh!Paid is a Mac app that makes new sales feel like little wins. It brings sale details, quick summaries and celebration receipts for milestones to your desktop. The receipts are digital — no printer needed. The examples on this page use demo figures.
Which payment providers can I connect?
Stripe and Dodo Payments are supported, including multiple accounts, Live Mode and Test Mode.
Will it work with my online store?
Oh!Paid connects to Stripe and Dodo Payments. If your store takes payments through one of these supported providers, you can connect that payment account. Oh!Paid shows the payment data available from the provider; it does not connect directly to Shopify or manage orders, stock or shipping.
Do I need a receipt printer?
No. Oh!Paid prints digital receipts on your Mac’s screen. You can also export receipt images to keep or share.
How do I connect my account?
Open Connect in the app and add your API key. Stripe requires a restricted key with the read permissions listed in the connection dialog. Dodo supports Live or Test, with an optional Brand ID. Oh!Paid reads your data; it does not create charges or issue refunds.
Where are my keys and data stored?
API keys are stored in macOS Keychain. Sales, refunds, subscription snapshots and queued receipts are stored locally on your Mac, not on Oh!Paid servers. The app reads data directly from Stripe or Dodo Payments over HTTPS. License activation and checks contact Dodo Payments. The website’s optional Google Analytics runs only with your consent.
Is monthly recurring revenue (MRR) based on real subscriptions?
Yes. MRR uses active subscriptions and normalises supported recurring intervals to a monthly amount. Unsupported or ambiguous subscriptions are excluded and the result is labelled when incomplete. Different currencies stay separate.
Can I pause receipts while I work?
Yes. Pause receipts, set quiet hours, limit the visible receipts or group bursts of sales. Synchronisation continues while receipts wait. You can also close all receipts and undo a dismissal.
Can I hide amounts or share a receipt?
Privacy mode masks customer details and amounts. The post editor exports receipts as PNG images in several formats, with your chosen background.
Will it show all my old sales when I connect?
The initial import of the last 30 days is silent. Receipts appear for new activity after that initial sync, while imported data contributes to summaries.
What Mac do I need?
Oh!Paid requires macOS 13 or later. It lives in the menu bar and can launch at login.
Can I download it? How much does it cost?
Download the early release from the download page. macOS 13 or later, Apple Silicon and Intel. This release is not notarized by Apple; follow the installation instructions if macOS blocks the first launch. Monthly is $3.99 and yearly is $29, each with a free 7-day trial and all features, unlimited receipts and every supported provider. A payment method is required; cancel before the trial ends to avoid a charge. Founders lifetime is an introductory $39 one-time purchase, charged immediately with no renewal. All prices include applicable taxes. You can try the website demo without an account. Install the app, then activate the key delivered by Dodo in Settings → Subscription.
